Independence Day, also commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States of America. While choosing recipes for American Breakfast, I thought it was a wonderful idea to depict their flag. I know people go crazy with the National Flag and do all sorts of things. They paint their nails, they dress up in those colors, they cook food related to it…there is no end.
Well there is no recipe to this you just need to toast the bread slice, apply a layer of butter , slice up some apples, place them horizontally , finally place some blue berries to create this flag.
One could use strawberries or jam to get this red color.
Fun and playful way to celebrate the flag.
Good job on that flag. People do go crazy depicting the flag for the 4th of July.
