Black Forest Cake
Black Forest cake is the English name for the German dessert Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. It is a delicious cake with cherries , cream and choclate.

Cherry sauce
  1. Remove the pits from cherries and strain the juice from the tin .
  2. Reserve about 1/4 cup and place the rest of the juice in a thick bottomed pan .
  3. Add half the pitted cherries .
  4. Add sugar.
  5. Dissolve the corn flour in a bowl , you could use the juice of cherries .
  6. Gradually add this conflour mixture to the cherry mix .
  7. Stir continuously till the mixture turns thick and translucent.
  8. Remove from fire .
  9. Let it come to room temperature before using .
Assembling the Cake
  1. Divide the cake into two .
  2. Using a spoon or a spray bottle sprinkle the reserved cherry syrup on both sides of the cake .
  3. Apply a layer of whipped cream .
  4. Spread the cherry sauce.
  5. Cover the cake with the second half .
  6. Apply whipped cream on the top and decorate with grated chocolate and cherries .
