Fada ni Lapsi
Fada ni Lapsi is a porridge which is cooked with broken wheat along with pure ghee , sugar / jaggery and cardamom . This comes from a Gujarati kitchen .

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Heat ghee preferably in a nonstick pan .
  2. Add broken wheat and roast , stirring continuously till it turns golden .
  3. Add 2 cups warm water and mix well .
  4. Let the water boil , then simmer the gas and let the wheat cook for about 15 minutes or till done . Stir at regular intervals .
  5. Add the sugar and cardamom powder .
  6. Mix well , simmer and cook for another 5-7 minutes or till ghee separates .
  7. Serve garnished with nuts .
