Jowar Ladoos with Rose Petals

Jowar Ladoos with Rose Petals are ladoos made with Jowar or sorghum flour . These ladoos have the goodness of almonds and coconut .

I spotted the Jowar Ladoos at Harini ‘s space and immediately decided to make them , but I wanted to give them a twist . I followed her recipe , but added some dried rose petals . I powdered them and trust me they were at a different level . These Ladoos can be served for festivals , like Ganesh Chaturthi , Diwali , you can even take them to a friends place as a gift .The Amaranth and Nuts Ladoos that I posted yesterday also are a wondeful Diwali gift.

Diwali is just round the corner and these ladoos are very festive , give them a try , as they are healthy as well as delicious . I am posting these Ladoos for my Day 2 post under Diwali Sweets and Savoury theme . You could check more of these recipes here .

  1. That’s one mindblowing combination Vaishali. I won’t have thought about it. did you try the recent whole rose bulbs that Priya got for us? I am still wondering how to use those petals..hehehe

    1. No Valli , I normally have a stock of dried rose petals , used those . The rose buds are best for garnish or as props .

  2. Very interesting laddoo recipe with jowar flour. Such a simple recipe to make — thanks for sharing, these will be perfect to make for impromptu guests. Love the idea of adding dried rose petals – must have added so much flavor.
