Kulhad wale Rajma Chawal are the famous Punjabi Style cooked Rajma served with rice and accompaniments in a earthen pot called kulhad .

Instructions
Rice
  1. Wash and soak the rice for about 20 minutes .
  2. Heat 1 tbsp ghee , add the bay leaf , cinnamon , cloves and cardamom .
  3. Add 2 cups water and let it come to a boil .
  4. Add salt and rice .
  5. Cook the rice with absorption method .
How to serve in Kulhads
  1. Fill half the kulhad with the prepared rice .
  2. Pour ladleful of Rajma curry over it .
  3. ( make sure it is not too less or too much , it should be just enough for the rice to be moist )
  4. Drizzle some mint chutney .
  5. Add a slice of carrot pickle and some onions .
  6. Serve individual portions , which are perfect for parties .
  7. Seal the kulhad with a leaf and secure it with a cotton thread , if carrying it to a party .
