We are always in quest of quick recipes to pack the lunch boxes . More so when the lunch box is for kids . When the kids are back from school , first thing all mom’s do is check the lunch box and ask if the kids enjoyed the food . Am I right ? Well , I was like that when my kids went to school .
For Day 2 under lunch box recipes under 30 minutes here is a Maharashtrian Poori . One needs to add all spices , a bit of grated onion and some pounded herbs to the flour and get the dough ready . All this can be done while the oil is getting heated to fry these pooris. Once the oil is ready it is a matter of minutes and the pooris get ready and you actually don’t need any accompaniment with these . If you want to serve then yogurt is the best . It is mild and you can enjoy the flavours in the Poori . These pooris taste fantastic when they are served piping hot , but taste even better when packed . They make a ideal snack for traveling too .
