Quick videos make life easy … and difficult ! Yes the dishes look so simple to make , one thinks…Wow , these can be done in a jiffy .

My hubby loves these and keeps sending me links of his favourite food .I am supposed to see them and cook ! Oh it will be done in minutes , such a simple recipe na ?  Ha ha , if only the fast forward method could apply to actual cooking !

Anyway for the second day under Special Theme I have Missal Pav , adapted from one of those videos from hubby . I have  already posted a Missal Pav , but this version is absolutely different . Missal is a street food from Mumbai , a typical Maharashtrian dish . The dish can be served as a meal or a snack . Serve it with Pav and Farsan it is a healthy and filling meal. The  recipe is quick and simple . I did not click the pics the first time I made this Missal but when I made it on Sunday , hubby was the one to ask me to take pics so I could document the recipe .

The missal can be made with sprouts or without them , it is the curry that is very flavorful .There is a special Missal Masala which we ordered from Amazon and we simply loved it , though it is optional to use it .

  1. Superb clicks… I understand how the quick videos can be misleading. Even if all the ingredients are ready and chopped, we can never finish it in the specified time…

  2. That last click is so tempting Vaishali. I wish I could taste it! And fast forward videos and cooking at home, totally understand!!
