Chia seeds are high in quality protein, much higher than most plant foods. Unlike flax seed , we need not grind these in order to absorb all the nutrients.
Here are some vegan truffles that I made with all healthy ingredients like dates , nuts and chia seeds . I saw the recipe perhaps on FB or Pinterest , I really can’t remember but I remember it was by Jagruti . I wish I could give her a feed back on these . These are one of the best truffles I have had . I ate one every day after my workout and did’nt need any breakfast. They kept me full for nearly two hours.

Mocha Chia Seeds Truffles
1 cup pitted dates , I used mejdool , though you can use other varieties too
3/4 cup mixed nuts ( walnuts , almonds , pistachio )
3 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp coffee powder
3+1 tbsp cocoa powder
1tbsp icing sugar
Add all nuts to a food processor and process till powdered .
Add the chopped , pitted dates , coffee and 3 tbsp of cocoa and blend till a sticky dough is made.
Make tiny balls and roll into cocoa powder.
Let set and after an hour dust some icing sugar.
Store in an airtight container.
