X Large Paratha as the name specifies is a deep fried paratha which is about 2 feet in diameter , this Paratha is served with Halwa during Ramzan .It is a special Iftar recipe.

  1. Take the flour in a mixing bowl .
  2. Add ghee and rub it in , so the flour resembles bread crumbs .
  3. Gradually adding water knead the dough .
  4. Make sure the dough is soft .
  5. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes .
  6. Make one big ball of the dough and start patting with hands .
  7. Sprinkle flour in between .
  8. The original paratha is about 2 ft in diameter , but I made a paratha which was about 14”
  9. I rolled and patted both .
  10. Heat a big griddle.
  11. Once the paratha reaches the desired diameter , carefully lift and place it on the griddle .
  12. Apply ghee .
  13. Cook for a minute and flip .
  14. Apply ghee and cook till brown spots appear .
  15. The paratha has to be soft and not crisp .
  16. Serve with Sooji ka Halwa .
