Yellow Dhokla with Cheese are steamed spongy lentil cakes , with grated cheese . A street food from Gujrat , these Dhoklas make a lovely breakfast.

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Wash and soak the rice and daals separately for 4-6 hours.
  2. Grind to a semi smooth paste ( like idli batter)
  3. Add salt and curd and leave it to ferment for 3-4 hours.
  4. Heat a steamer.
  5. Add green chilly paste , turmeric powder oil and lastly ENO .
  6. Mix well .
  7. Pour into steel plates and put to steam.
  8. Just before putting the lid on sprinkle red chilly powder .
  9. Steam for 10 minutes or till a knife comes out clean when inserted.
  10. Remove and cut into squares .
  11. Top with grated cheese .
