Instant Onion Pickle is a delicious pickle made with onions which can be served right away, not only that it is a great accompaniment with almost all dishes, especially North Indian meals.
Our April marathon was all about Biryani, Pulaos and Khichadis , and while we made these I made an Achaari Paneer Pulao and served this Pickle with the rice. The Pulao was delicious, but trust me it was highlighted with this onion pickle. Paneer Tikka and onions is a combo made in heaven and it was only natural that I follow it while making an Achaari Paneer Pulao.
The instant onion pickle recipe was first introduced by my younger daughter. Every time she makes some Awadhi dishes this pickle is a must as it really compliments the dishes very well. She is a wonderful Cake Baker in Japan, but I get amazed to see her cooking skills. She works at a jet speed and comes up with her own versions of odd combinations which work so so well.
I never thought I would make a separate post for this pickle, but I had to! I got many requests for it. So here I am with this super delicious Instant Onion Pickle. Enjoy!
Instant Onion Pickle is My Day 2 post under the theme Condiments of your choice.
