Colourful Foods Kids Delight is an event where I shall be posting recipes with colourful foods, which are specially created for kids. Adults can enjoy them as well.
When it comes to food for kids we must remember that kids have different preferences at different age, and we must think of their nutrition along with their choice of food and prepare their meals.
Colours play an important role in attracting kids to food. The younger kids love a variety of colours, shapes and sizes. Presenting food is another aspect we need to remember. We must understand that each colour of food has something special to offer in terms of nutrition. At the same time, we must stay away from artificial colours and give them fruits and vegetables with natural colours as these are a powerhouse of antioxidants and vitamins.
Considering the importance of colours in our kid’s food Srivalli came up with the Theme Colourful Foods. Here are some wonderful recipes from my friends and me. I am sure these recipes will help you plan some healthy and nutritious meals for your kids, which they would love.
