Turkish Pide
Pide is a boat shaped Turkish pizza, one can stuff anything in this boat, from meat to vegetables. I added tomato and corn with a generous layer of cheese.

Ingredients

Dough
  1. Mix both the flours, yeast, salt, sugar and 2 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Add warm water and knead a soft dough.
  3. Sprinkle some all purpose flour and knead the dough for about 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it.
  5. Leave it to rise for an hour.
Purée
  1. Blanch the tomatoes.
  2. Peel and finely chop the tomatoes.
  3. Heat olive oil.
  4. Add bay leaf .
  5. Add onions and garlic. Saute’.
  6. Add tomato and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Add ready puree’ and ketchup.
  8. Add salt.
  9. Let cool.
  10. Grind to a paste.
Assembling
  1. Roll the dough into a oval shape .
  2. Apply the puree’, make sure to leave the edges.
  3. Add the corn kernels.
  4. Sprinkle a lavish layer of cheese .
  5. Now lift the edges to form a rim , pinch at ends to form a boat shape .
  6. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes .Preheat the oven and place the pide to bake at 180 deg C for 15 minutes .
  7. Add torn basil and drizzle chilly oil .
