M – Mawa Cake

Instructions
  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda.
  2. Grate or crumble the mawa, add cream ,milk and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Stir well with a whisk so everything combines into a smooth mix. Remove from fire and keep aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the creamed milk and mawa.
  5. Gradually fold in the flour.
  6. Pour into a greased and lined tin.
  7. Bake at 180 degrees C for 45 – 50 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
