Poha Ladoo with Cashews and Raisins
Poha Ladoo is a delicious Indian sweet made with beaten rice, sugar, raisins and nuts. The ladoos are always round just like a ball.

  1. Dry roast the poha , let them come to room temperature .
  2. Pulse them in a mixer .
  3. Sieve to get a uniform powder .
  4. If required repulse .
  5. Roast the cashews and raisins and ghee and keep aside .
  6. Now roast semolina in the same ghee till you get a nice aroma .
  7. Remove from fire .
  8. Mix semolina and the powdered poha.
  9. Add the cardamom powder , cashews and raisins .
  10. Add sugar and mix well . At this pint check the mix for sweetness .
  11. Gradually add milk in small portions and bind into ladoos .
  12. Garnish with saffron and pistachios .
