Chocolate Cake in a Jar
Chocolate Cake in a Jar is a dessert with moist layers of dark chocolate cakes, fresh cream and sinful ganache topped with chocolate chips.
Prep Time 20 minutes minutes Cook Time 50 minutes minutes Total Time 1 hour hour 10 minutes minutes
- Chocolate cake
- ganache
- whipping cream
- Chocolate chips
- Jars
Pipe out a layer of ganache on the base of the jar.
Using a circle cutter, cut out circles of cake from the chocolate cake.
Press a circle of cake onto the ganache layer.
For the third layer pipe out whipping cream or drop out a heaped tablespoon and level it with a spoon.
Repeat the cake layer and finally top with a generous layer of ganache.
Place a few chocolate chips, chill the cake jar for at least 2 hours for the flavours to infuse.
