Eggless Butterless Rose Cookies , The cookies have a wonderful crunch with a mild aroma of rose, which makes these cookies so desirable.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup castor sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup curd
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp rose white essence
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200 deg C.
  • Mix curd, oil, sugar, rose essence, salt , vinegar and baking powder.
  • Add the flour and prepare a soft dough.
  • Pinch out small balls and roll it tight.
  • Place them on a greased baking tray .
  • With a fork press each ball to flatten it.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes .
  • The base colour will turn golden, but the top will not change colour.
  • Cool on a wire rack .
  • Store in an airtight container.
