Preheat a griddle .
Pinch out a lemon sized portion of the dough .
Dust with dry flour and roll to a 3” disc .
Spread some ghee and place 11/2 tsps of sugar, cardamom powder and a few strands of saffron .
Bring together the edges and seal the Paratha.
Flatten the Paratha with your palms first and then gently roll till it is about 5” .
Place the Paratha on the heated griddle , mind you it should not be overheated .
Flip after a couple of seconds .
Apply ghee on the cooked side and flip again .
Now apply ghee on the other side.
Cook till the Paratha is nice and crisp .
