Kesari Mango & Roasted Almond Shrikhand is a traditional Dessert made with hung curd, sugar and flavorings. This is one of the most popular desserts of Gujarat as well as Maharashtra .

Ingredients
2cupsthick yogurt
1cupmango pulp
1/4cupsugarpowdered
1/4cupmango pieces
1/4tspcardamom powder
Few strands saffron
2-3tbspalmondschopped
1tbspPistachioschopped
Instructions
Soak the saffron in some warm milk.
After a few minutes using a mini mortar pestle , scrub the saffron and make a paste .
Whisk the hung curd till creamy .
Add the powdered sugar and mango pulp .
Whisk again so that everything blends well .
Add the mango pieces , almonds , saffron paste and cardamom powder .
Mix gently.
Garnish with mango pieces , chopped almonds and pistachios .
