Lahsuni Daal aur Jowar ka Rotla
A simple, no frill meal with basic Daal and Rotla.

- 1 cup moong daal
- 1 small tomato
- 1 green chilly
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp ghee
- 2 tsp garlic finely chopped
Wash and soak the daal for 15 minutes.
Wash again and pressure cook the daal with tomato, green chilly , ginger paste, salt and turmeric powder.
Cook for 2 whistles and open the cooker after the pressure drops .
Mash the daal with the back of a spoon . It should be smooth .
Adjust the consistency by adding water.
Boil well .
Add lemon juice.
Heat ghee , add chopped garlic , let it turn golden . Make sure it does not burn.
Add to the daal .
Serve hot with Jowar ki Roti .
