Maharashtrian Poori
Maharashtrian Poori is a Indian bread from the Maharashtra region . Herbs and spices are added to make this melt in the mouth spiced poori .

- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 large onion grated
- 2 green chillies paste
- leaves Few coriander paste
Place oil to heat .
Take a mixing bowl and add the wheat flour .
Add turmeric powder and salt .
Add grated onion and chilly , coriander paste .
Mix well with hands .
Gradually adding water bind the dough .
Drizzle a tbsp of oil and knead the dough till smooth and pliable .
Pinch out a lemon size ball and roll into a disc of about 4” .
Deep fry the poori turning once , till nice and golden .
