Masala Biscuits

Masala Biscuits are healthy crackers made with whole wheat flour, sesame seeds , green chillies and fresh green coriander leaves .

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp green chillies
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp milk

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl take flour.
  • Add butter and rub till it resembles bread crumbs.
  • Add salt , sugar , sesame seeds, coriander leaves, green chillies.
  • Adding milk knead to a stiff dough.
  • Flour the surface of the counter and roll the dough into 1/4” thick.
  • Cut into squares or any other desired shape.
  • Repeat with all the dough.
  • Prick these with a fork to avoid puffing up .
  • Preheat the oven at 180 deg C for 10mins. Meanwhile arrange the biscuits in a baking tray with butter paper.
  • Bake the biscuits for about 15-20 mins. Keep an eye after 15mins.
  • Once taken out of the oven, the biscuits are soft, when cooled down they become crispy.
