Rahaa / Black Eyed Beans
Rahaa is a Sindhi name for black eyed beans or what we call Lobhia in Hindi .This is a zero oil recipe and tastes delicious with just two spices.
Cook Time 10 minutes minutes Total Time 4 hours hours 10 minutes minutes
- 1 cup Lobhia / Rahaa / Black eyed Beans
- red chilly powder
- dry mango powder
- Salt to taste
Wash and soak the beans overnight .
Pressure cook with salt for 2 whistles .
Let the pressure release and then open the cooker .
Check if done.
Drain the excess water and use it as stock for curries.
Sprinkle red chilly powder and mango powder over the beans and mix well .
