Anjeer Kulfi / Frozen Fig Dessert
Frozen Fig fudge with nuts, made the Indian way to call it Kulfi
Prep Time 5 minutes minutes Cook Time 10 minutes minutes Total Time 4 hours hours 15 minutes minutes
- 500 ml milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- pinch cardamon
- 4 pieces nutty fig roll / 4 figs, 4 tbsp mixed nuts
In a heavy bottomed vessel , bring the milk to a boil.
Add sugar and crushed Nutty Fig Rolls.
Cook on slow fire , till the figs have disintegrated .
Add cardamon powder.
( Alternatively, add the fig paste and nuts and boil the milk till it reduces to half.)
By now the milk for kulfi will be thick, pour into kulfi mould
Wait till the kulfi is at room temperature.
Place in the freezer to set.
