Anjeer Kulfi / Frozen Fig Dessert

Frozen Fig fudge with nuts, made the Indian way to call it Kulfi

Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • pinch cardamon
  • 4 pieces nutty fig roll / 4 figs, 4 tbsp mixed nuts

Instructions

  • In a heavy bottomed vessel , bring the milk to a boil.
  • Add sugar and crushed Nutty Fig Rolls.
  • Cook on slow fire , till the figs have disintegrated .
  • Add cardamon powder.
  • ( Alternatively, add the fig paste and nuts and boil the milk till it reduces to half.)
  • By now the milk for kulfi will be thick, pour into kulfi mould
  • Wait till the kulfi is at room temperature.
  • Place in the freezer to set.
