Chocolate Cornflakes Cookie

Crunchy, Crispy, exterior and a soft interior, these cookies are a treat, with chocolate flavor and the super crunch from cornflakes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar powdered
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp instant coffee
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup crushed cornflakes

Instructions

  • Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Preheat oven to 180 deg C.
  • Mix flour, cocoa, coffee and baking powder.
  • Beat butter and powdered sugar till light and creamy .
  • Add vanilla extract.
  • Add the flour mix to the beaten butter.
  • Add milk and form balls.
  • Roll on the crushed cornflakes and place them on parchment paper.
  • Make the rest of the cookies in the similar manner .
  • Bake for 18 - 20 minutes.
  • Let cool on a wire rack .
  • Store in a airtight container .
