Fruit & Nut Yogurt Salad

Fruit and Nut Yogurt salad gives you a significant source of protein for a relatively small portion and tastes heavenly too.

Ingredients

  • 500 gms yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Few drops vanilla essence
  • mango
  • Cherry
  • pecans
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • melon seeds

Instructions

  • Take a strainer and place it over a bowl.
  • Put the yogurt into the strainer and place it in the refrigerator for about six hours.
  • You will get a tick chunk of curd , discard the water from this curd, or use it for binding dough.
  • Remove the thick chunk in a bowl, add honey and vanilla essence and whisk till smooth.
  • If you find the yogurt is very thick add a little milk to get it to the consistency you want.
  • Alternatively you can get Vanilla flavored Greek yogurt.
  • Place them in serving bowls and top with your favorite fruits, nuts and seeds.
  • I used mango, cherry , walnuts , pumpkin seeds and melon seeds.
  • Serve chilled.
