Healthy Seeds Brittle

Seeds Brittle is a crunchy snack , perfect for anytime munch it is loaded with goodness of protein . A healthy , nutritious and perfect candy .

Ingredients

  • 250 gms jaggery
  • 250 gms mix of seeds
  • ( Sunflower , Pumkin, Chia Seeds )
  • 1/4 cup almond halves
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • cardamom pods
  • Rose petals

Instructions

  • Grease the counter of your platform and place a bowl of water before you start making the brittle
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a nonstick pan .
  • Grate the jaggery and place it in the pan on slow heat .
  • Let it melt , while it melts , stir continuously , or it may burn .
  • The jaggery should turn golden and thick.
  • Test check by adding a drop in the bowl of water .
  • The ball should be hard , brittle.
  • Now add the seeds, almonds , coconut and cardamoms .
  • Mix well and immediately bring it down on the greased counter .
  • Quickly wet your hand and bring together the lump .
  • Sprinkle rose petals .
  • Using a greased rolling pin roll the brittle as thin as you can .
  • Using a pizza cutter make incisions .
  • Let set and then break into pieces .
