Instant Onion Pickle
Instant Onion Pickle is a delicious pickle made with onions which can served right away, not only that it is a great accompaniment with almost all dishes, specially North Indian meals .
Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/8 tsp nigella seeds
- 1/8 tsp fennel seeds
- 1/8 tsp mustard powder
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel and slice the onion into round slices .
- Add all spices , including salt and mix .
- Add the mustard oil and lemon juice , mix again .
- Enjoy the pickle after 5-10 minutes , once the onion has absorbed the flavours .
