Methi Poori

Methi Poori is a crunchy poori , made with wheat flour , spices and dry fenugreek . The sesame seeds give it a super crunch .

Ingredients

  • 500 gms wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp carom seeds
  • 2 tbsp kasoori methi
  • 125 gms oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Take wheat flour in a mixing bowl or a big Thali .
  • Add all the ingredients , including oil .
  • Mix well .
  • Now gradually adding water bind a stiff dough.
  • Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes .
  • Heat oil for deep frying .
  • Pinch out tiny balls from the dough .
  • Roll into mini discs .
  • Deep fry till golden and crisp adjusting the flame .
  • These pooris can be baked as well .
