Missi Roti

Missi Roti is a Indian flatbread from the state of Rajasthan . The bread is made from a mix of chickpea flour and wheat flour along with herbs and spices .

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1/4 tsp carom seeds
  • leaves Few coriander chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Mix the flours . Add salt , carom seeds ,oil , green chillies and coriander leaves .
  • Mix the flour well .
  • Gradually adding warm water bind the dough.
  • Pinch out little larger than lemon sized balls and roll into a roti .
  • Roast on a griddle , till you see black spots on it .
  • Smear with ghee and serve hot
