Pav Pattice

Pav Pattice is a spicy delicious Indian burger . A burger which is made with ladi pav , pattice , chutneys , sev and onions !

Ingredients

  • Pav
  • Pattice
  • Sweet Chutney
  • Garlic chutney
  • Farsan sev
  • onions finely chopped

Pattice

  • 4 potatoes boiled
  • 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves
  • Pinch turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Pattice

  • Mash the boiled potatoes.
  • Add all ingredients under pattice and mix well .
  • Make sure the dough is lump free .
  • Divide the mixture into four .
  • Make each portion into a round ball and flatten to make a patty .
  • Fry on a nonstick pan with little oil .

Assembling the Pav Pattice

  • Slit the Pav and lightly toast it on a griddle with butter . ( I skipped this step )
  • Apply a generous layer of garlic chutney on the inside layers of the Pav .
  • Now apply sweet chutney on the inside and bottom layer of the Pav .
  • Place a Pattice on the bottom layer.
  • Place handful of sev and onion on the Pattice and press the Pav to close .
  • Now apply a layer of sweet chutney on top of this ready pav and place another handful of sev and onions .
  • Garnish with coriander leaves .
  • Pav Pattice is ready to eat .

Notes

Note I did not use any binding agent to the Pattice , but you could add some corn flour or bread crumbs. You could deep fry the Pattice when making for a larger number. You could even use airfryer to fry the pattice.
