Subz Tawe ki Shami 

Subz Tawe ki Shami are delicious ,melt in the mouth Kebabs made with minced veggies and spices ,. These can be grilled on charcoal or roasted on a griddle.

Ingredients

  • 1 carrot diced
  • 100 gm bean green finely chopped
  • 100 gm peas
  • 50 gm cauliflower
  • 200 gm potatoes
  • 2 green chilli
  • 2 inches ginger
  • 2 tbsp cumin powder roasted
  • 3 1/2 gram tbsp roastedflour besan
  • 1/4 tsp black cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Boil the potatoes , peel and mash them .
  • Blanch all the vegetables and process them together coarsely in a blender place in a piece of muslin cloth and squeeze gently to remove excess water.
  • Mix the potatoes and veggies .
  • Add the green chilies, ginger, roasted gram powder, roasted cumin powder, cardamom powder, chaat masala and salt.
  • Mix well , check for seasoning .
  • Pinch out small balls from the mixture and shape into patties.
  • Shallow fry or deep fry or roast them over charcoal.
  • Serve with mint chutney, onions and lemon slices.
