Whole Wheat Rose Cookies

Whole Wheat Rose Cookies are delicious cookies made with whole wheat flour and rose. They have a wonderful crunch and a lingering taste.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup castor sugar
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup curd
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp rose white essence
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200deg C.
  • Mix curd, oil, sugar, rose essence, salt, vinegar and baking powder.
  • Add in the flour and prepare a soft dough.
  • Pinch out small balls and roll them tightly.
  • Place on a greased baking tray.
  • Press them lightly to flatten them.
  • Insert a chocolate chip in the centre.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • The base might turn golden.
  • Let cool and then store or serve.
