BM # 8   Day 2
Among choclates Bounty is my favorite.I just cant resist the moist ,sweetend coconut along with that sinful chocolate. For the 2nd day of BM # 8 ,organized by Srivalli I have made Choco Rolls. Before I tell you about these let me first tell you that incidentally this post is also for Blog Hop Wednesday.Blog Hop Wednesday is Radhika’s baby where two bloggers are paired who cook from each other’s blog. We cook alternate Wednesdays.Friends who are interested could contact Radhika.

Now coming to Choco Rolls. The recipe is from Vatsala’s  show n tell blog.Vatsala has some amazing recipes on her blog ,do check them out.Since anything to do with the combo of choclate and coconut is my favorite plus it fitted perfectly with my BM theme, kids friendly,no stove cooking….. I chose this recipe.
Here goes the recipe…..

For the outer layer…..
½ pckt…………………….marie biscuits
1 ½ tsp……………………cocoa pwd
1tbsp………………………sugar
½ cup …………………….milk

For the inner layer
¼ cup……………………..dessicated coconut
½ cup …………………….sugar
2-3tsp……………………. butter
Pinch ……………………..cardamon(optional)

Powder the biscuits.
Add cocoa pwd and sugar.
Bind into a dough using milk.
Mix all ingredients for the inner layer.

How to proceed……
Divide  the dough into two parts.
Roll into thick chapati.
(use a plastic sheet )
Spread half of the coconut on this.
Roll to form a cylindrical shape.
Repeat with the other dough.
Wrap into cling film and place in a refrigerator for 30 mins.
Cut into slices.
