Dahi Pakodi is my choice for Day 3 under Recipes with three ingredients theme . I have posted Lachko Daal and Maad for Day 1 and Day 2 . All three recipes belong to Rajasthani Cuisine and were a part of the Rajasthani Thali that I posted for Protein Rich Mega Marathon .
Pakodi is a simple Besan pakoda which is quite small in size . We simply add salt and chilly to the batter and fry mini pakodas, these are then immersed into water to make them super soft .
Whipped curd is seasoned with chilly and cumin and then these pakodis are added . You could call these as another version of Dahi Wada , but here the whipped curd is not as thick as the one we use for Dahi Wada .
Chickpea flour and curd are the two main ingredients used in this recipe , strange some recipes with very few ingredients also taste fantastic .

Fantastic dish Vaishali, as you said some dishes are awesome even with just handful of ingredients!..enjoyed your series and as I said your thali makes me hungry!
Interesting recipe Vaishali, it sounds like a simpler version of dahi vada. Btw the entire plate looks amazing and i’m drooling here.
Fantastic dish! This seems like a distant cousin to dahi vada. But I can imagine the flavors here.
I feel that often the simplest dishes are the best. This is new to me and sounds delicious. Is this eaten as is or with rice?
No Jay . This is an accompaniment , just like Dahi Wada . Instead of adding Urad daal wadas , mini pakodis are made with besan.
behna gher ka address bhejo pehle mein transfer leke aati hu khane…. I love this dahi pakodi too much…. I know its like dahi vada but this taste more yummy.
What a great dish this is and I am so tempted to dig into your thaali right now. Each and every dish in the thali is so unique and authentic.
Omg, this dahi pakodi is absolutely a lip-smacking dish. Lovely share.
With the change in weather, the look of these dahi pakori is looking so refreshing. This is my favorite summer lunch/dinner to have dahi pakori with onion parathas.
Am ready to finish that bowl of dahi pakodi just like snacks, miss these deligthful dishes since a long as am keeping myself away from deepfrying.
That is a drool worthy accompaniment to that lip-smacking thali.
