Village Kartarpur is located at the west bank of river Ravi where Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent last 18 years of his life. Gurdwara Dera Baba Nanak is about 1 km from the Indo- Pakistan border.

Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib falls in district Narowal of Pakistan, so you have to cross that one border line.

The Gurudwara has a serene atmosphere and the pilgrims get a warm welcome on arrival.

A delicious langar is served here , and those who like tea , they will have one of the best Tea on earth !

There are snacks to indulge in and of course some shopping where you can buy jutti’s , dress material . You can also pick the famous Multani Sohan Halwa to bring back home.

Feel blessed to visit the Dera and the country where our ancestors lived.

This is my first piece and I realise there is a lot of scope for improvement. Ma, miss you so much, love you and may Babaji bless you wherever you are.
