For the third day of Christmas recipes , I have yet another cake . The cake is made from a premix but any good chocolate cake recipe can be used. I baked the cake in a bundt tin and after it had cooled down , I inverted it and scooped it carefully . You need to be careful as you do not want any holes while scooping . After scooping you can fill it with ganache or cream or chocolates . The options are many . I used whipped cream and Oreos . The scooped cake is used for sealing the filling .
I topped the cake with ganache and some chocolate vermicelli. I had made the cake to welcome my daughter and grandkids . As soon as the kids cut the cake they were excited to see some filling as they were not aware that the cake had a filling . As soon as they had the first bite they were even more excited, they did not expect Oreos in it. Kids , chocolate and Oreos , isn’t that a perfect combo ! I was so happy that the kids loved the cake and crushed me with their hugs and kisses .
