Since the last two days I have been posting savoury crepes like Lentil and Spinach Crepes and Chickpea flour Crepes, to day it is a sweet one . My original plan was to make all three sweet ones , but when you are cutting down the sugar you definitely have to compromise on your choices .

 

Anyway coming to today’s crepes , they are from Tarla Dalal ‘s site . I saw the basic Eggless version and then proceeded with my own filling .The crepes do not have any sugar as the filling is sweet enough . The filling includes Nutella spread and apple slices . If you wish you could use cooked apples too but I wanted a crunchy taste so just placed the slices . I drizzled some chocolate sauce and some icing sugar too . A bit of whipped cream and the dessert crepes are ready .

Apple & Chocolate Crepes

Ingredients

1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup corn flour
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup water approximately
1 tsp butter

Method

Mix flour, corn flour , milk , and water in a deep bowl . Whisk well making sure there are no lumps . The mixture should be of pouring consistency .
Grease a nonstick pan and and pour a spoon ful of batter . Rotate the pan so that the pan is coated with a thin layer of the batter .
Within few seconds the crepes will begin to peel off , flip them and cook the other side for a few seconds .
Remove .
Make rest of the crepes in the similar way .

Assembling

Apply a layer of Nutella , place some apple slices and roll the crepes.
Drizzle chocolate sauce and lace with chocolate cream .

Notes

The crepes do not have any sugar or salt , so you can get innovative and try different combinations .
