Gobhi Patata is a Sindhi version of Gobhi Aloo . This is a deep fried version of cauliflower and potatoes , but trust me one that you will love and will not stop eating.
Sindhi’s have always been very fond of fried food and we all know that fried food is tasty . I agree it is not healthy to eat fried food and we all are slowly changing our food habits and cooking methods . We are substituting deep frying by using airfryer , and the airfryer results are excellent . For today I wanted to give you the authentic and traditional style in which we Sindhi’s made this side dish . Since it is deep fried it stays good for a day without being refrigerated . There is one more version of this fried Gobhi Patata which is the favourite of my son and daughter in law . I shall definitely be sharing that too .
Yesterday we spoke about zero oil and today about deep frying , what a contrast ! While we are taking of fried food let me give you some more authentic fried dishes from Sindhi Cuisine. Well I will work on these and try and give you the low calorie or Zero oil versions very soon, for now it’s fried food.
