Idli Chilly Paratha

Idli Chilly Paratha is a fusion paratha made with our regular everyday roti with a stuffing of Idli Chilly . Garnished with spring onion curls the paratha resembles a taco .

When you are doing A to Z theme and you have to choose a recipe with the alphabet I , it sure is hard . Instant , interesting , ice cream , are a couple of  options I could think of but I did not want to add any of these so decided on Idli Chilly Paratha .

The paratha was inspired by my love for Paneer Chilly and Roti . It definitely is a strange combo , but trust me you will love it , just give it a try . I make Paneer Chilly Parathas and they a great hit . To tell you the truth if you have Idli Chilly it gives you the same taste as Paneer Chilly .

I made two Idli Chilly parathas for myself as hubby is off wheat , but I got only one to eat , yes hubby wanted a bite and liked it so much that he finished the whole paratha and guess what he did not even know that I had used Idli . All the way he felt it was paneer . He was shocked to know that I had used Idli instead of paneer.

I used store bought batter for making idlis ,but of course if you have batter or some left over idlis they could be used too.. The Idly Chilly Paratha, along with Hot and Sour Soup and a Chinese Mango Pudding made a perfect Indo Chinese meal under Flatbreads and More. The meal was  simple , yet delicious and satisfying.
