Rahaa is a Sindhi name for black eyed beans or what we call Lobhia in Hindi .
I prepared these for the Protein Rich Thali where Rahaa was a type of salad . We can make these beans in many other forms. Boiling these soaked beans and seasoning them with chilly powder and mango powder is one of the most hit versions . These boiled beans are also served with Kadha Prasad for special functions . The combination of the sweet halwa with these mildly spiced beans is terrific and one can’t decide if it is the halwa or the beans which are tastier .Rahaa are my Day 2 post under Special Theme.
While making these beans make sure you soak them and cook. . They swell up well overnight and it is a breeze cooking them . Two simple spices make them delicious and to think they are zero oil . For the first week I made a Zero Oil Thali and that’s the time I decided to post more zero oil recipes .Till the time I post new ones here are some Xero Oil recipes that I have already posted .
