These are perfect energy bites which are simple to make and easy to carry while you travel . A couple of these packed in a ziplock and placed in your handbag would make it so easy to assess . We always carry such energy bites as they give you instant energy , without any guilt of consuming any kind of fat or sugar . The best is they are made in a jiffy ! No cooking , just processing in a food processor and you are done .
These no cook energy bites are ideal for anytime munch too . You can enjoy these for breakfast, for you mid morning snack , after your gym workout, as a evening snack or even as a after dinner dessert . The blend of cranberries and dates is a very fine blend and lends an awesome flavour . Slightly tarty , yet mildly sweet , it sure makes a super duper delicious bite , which you would definitely not stop at one .

Almond Cranberry Bites
Ingredients
1/2 cup pitted dates
1/2 dried cranberries
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup almonds
2 tsp poppy seeds
Method
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process till it forms a thick lump .
Remove in a bowl and make lemon sized balls .
Store in a airtight container .

This is an interesting one Vaishali. Though truth be told, I will be the kid who will eat this, my kids only like chocolates as you know hehehe…maybe I can mix in cocoa powder to cheat them!
