When I read the word Meetha I was hesitant to make this khichdi. You guys know I do not like both salt and sugar in one dish, but when I read that there was just a teaspoon, I quickly decided on it.

This khichdi is rather rich. It has whole spices and some nuts too. I was amazed at the simplicity of the dish, yet rich and comforting. The Meetha Kechudi is a part of my Orrisi Thali.
