Roasted Spicy Nuts and Seeds are a mix of variety of nuts and seeds which are roasted and mixed with flavourful spices to make it a protein rich munch .
These nuts and seeds are ideal as an Edible Gift or for carrying in your bag while traveling , they make a perfect snack pre and post work out and they are ideal to munch while watching movies . Trust me these are addictive and you will be amazed the way they disappear .
I have a jar filled of these and it is kept in the TV room along with some other munches ,though. my hubby and I have a fixed portion of these . I carried these while we were traveling by road to Silvas . My architect and designer went crazy over these and I made a big batch to gift to them . Yes this munch makes a wonderful gift . Since I made a big batch I gifted them to my gym friends also . They were over the moon and now want me to start a business . So now you have to believe that these are super super addictive and delicious .
While making these make sure you roast the nuts well and each variety should be roasted separately as they all require different time . The spices are as per your taste . These are best enjoyed with a spoon , so that you get all the tiny seeds and the coarse cashew powder along with the nuts . Do give it a try and let me know , I bet you will love it .

Roasted Spicy Nuts and Seeds
Ingredients
- 500 gms almonds
- 500 gms cashews broken variety
- 100 gms pistachios
- 100 gms sunflower seeds
- 100 gms pumpkin seeds
Seasoning
- 1 tsp heapedsesame seeds white
- 1 tsp heapedsesame seeds black
- 1 tsp heapedfennel seeds
- 1 tsp heapedcoriander seeds
- 2 tsp heapedpoppy seeds
- Handful fried crushed curry leaves
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin seed powder
- 1 tsp yellow / red chilly powder
- 1 tsp dry mango powder
- 1/2 tsp black salt
- Salt to taste
- 4-6 tsp coarse cashew powder
Instructions
- Roast all the nuts separately either in a oven / MW or stove top .
- Roast the seeds too .
- Heat 2 tbsp oil and add sesame seeds,fennel seeds, coriander seeds and poppy seeds . Roast for 2-3 minutes .
- Switch off the flame and add all the spices and curry leaves.
- Mix well and switch on the flame .
- Add the roasted nuts and seeds .
- Add the cashew powder and mix well on medium flame .
- Mix well till all nuts are evenly coated .
- Check for spices at this point , you could adjust the seasoning as per your taste .
- Remove and let cool before storing .

The addition of the fennel is totally cool. Definitely, these are addictive with tons of flavors.
